The Casual Observer

 

The casual observer’s monotonous gaze watches carefully the ways of all the colorful people that cycle through each day. To his eyes they all hold their own flavor, leaving a different taste on his mind, filling his senses with a different spice; but to the heart they are all the same and they never change for variation in character such as genuine integrity and wisdom combined with humility are merely figments of our imagination as we carry out intangible dreams in the heavily populated house of denial. But it’s so much lovelier there and so much happier there, so we hold on to the things that don’t exist and dream of love enhanced by sinless bliss, then reality checks in and throws us back in the game as the competition ignites the fire that is so rudely roasting our sensitive and tender asses.
