Truth Be Told
Truth Be Told

Silk or Satin can not replace
this fair complexion upon your face
Soft to touch yet so hard to feel
this love we match makes my heart kneel
I must return to my promised home
but breaking one is for when I go
I take a stand and try my leave
but these lost boundries I can not see
I travel days unto your light
when satisfied upon your sight
I caress this smooth undoubting strife
these complications won't ever complicate this life
You admit to stealing I suffice to sorrow
this heart of mine is nothing close to borrowed
I tell you truth set for lessons followed
have I made it clear I can not be hollowed
By what you say I take from understanding
You took me to thought in which I fought commanding
If your mother's test is to teach me well
then she must forget self image and teach herself
Stop the sips no your hips are fine
Don't wanna see you hurt off cognac or wine
I know I can't control what goes on backstage
but know this I'm there for you on the same page
So please stop these crys and just do your work
if its me you want to see you must do that first
this loving moral from which I mean to say
is nothing short from what has been explained
I love you dear but you must stop dreaming
If I'm all there is than what is life's meaning
I can not stride to you if it has not been handled
Your school, and past life has been dismantled
so for now this week you must take care
I know I'm important but there's more out there
Don't take it wrong I can not wait to see
those beautiful eyes staring back at me
But since then baby you have got three days
and in turn you'll find we have both made ways
I will see you there at four in play
I will think of you until then night and day
goodnight my love and goodmorning lover
we have ninety six hours till we're beneath the cover
slide into warmth your arms laid on mine
the countdown has begun hone till I see you next time
I love You Kat and this is what I've said
so rest now baby cause I'm going to bed
I'll see you in pictures, dreams, and beams of light
the suspense is killing me so I must say goodnight
for Truth has been told now my soul may sleep tight...
