It is always sad to hear of the passing of a friend and the sudden passing of our fellow poet Paul came as a big shock to myself and others yesterday.

A small gesture from myself is the following poem

A Tribute to Paul

Paul we all loved your penmanship,
the passion you showed in every line.
Some views stirred others to respond
with vigours of their own, like mine.
But always we respected you
and welcomed every post you honed.
Many of us chatted with you online,
on Facebook, IM, or even phone.

Your rich mind is now gone from us,
and to miss you will be hard for all.
To Helen, Anthony and all your family
our thoughts must turn and now recall
that for all that we ever knew of you
their lives are changed so much more.
Condolences sent with good intent,
for the loss they endure for sure.
