Poison
Poison

I pour out my heart, hoping for deliverance

Sadly, everything returned wreaks of poison

Breathing you in causes my body slow, painful decay

My heart shatters into a thousand screams

Dripping with my own blood and tears

I remain cold and empty on the inside

Finally accepting what I can no longer escape

I take in my last, dying breath

Well this flows really well. I love the opening two lines, as well. The only suggestion i would make would be to consider giving a whack at some more unique words in replacement of some of the more common descriptive ones. But i like it, none the less. It felt very real.
