THEN I FOUND YOU
THEN I FOUND YOU

Reaching outward to seek the good life,

While drifting day by day, avoiding strife.

Dreaming of happiness through the year,

Hoping to find an escape from fear.

Creeping close to the bottomless pit,

Grasping a dream near the end of my wit.

Pressing on in a world full of gloom,

Knowing that my path could lead to doom.

I lost my way. But then I found you.

Soon a heavenly place came into view.

Consumed by love and thrust in a trance,

Suddenly I found the joy of romance.

What then are the words for me to say,

But I love you more each and every day?
