Do You Remember?
Do You Remember?

Do You Remember?

That day, that picture, that moment.

The crowd

Cheering loud

Cheering, Cheering All the time

As we each run by

 1, 2, 3, 4...

Do You Remember?

You must remember

Because you.

You were there too.

But you.

You weren't cheering, weren't smiling, weren't laughing, weren't crying.

You were watching.

Just watching.

Do You Remember?

You walked away

That day.

Saying things unheard, seeing things unseen.

All incomprehensible to us.

Until we entered your state of mind.

The chrysalis closing in.

And felt it all.

Do You Remember?

You must Remember.

Because I do.
