Thanks for the comment Dave. The "Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown was read and about halfway through the book, "Earth 2029" came to be in half-a-day. 144 and 169 are the keys I used. In my humbled opinion, religions are and have been using cubes and squared of numbers to either explain the existence of God by defining what God is not, as opposed to what God is. But what do I know as a Noetics poet as opposed to a Noetics scientist? I do know that both types have a mind. If you haven't read the book yet, I would strongly recomment it as a piece of creative fiction bordering on the possibility anything is possible in the 21st Century.

Quite a poem for the times and also very Jeffersonian in nature, where greed breeds drone-like slaves living in their hilltop mansions looking down their noses upon the common folk shaking their fists at air.

Thanks for your comment on my psychiatric delusion, where yes hypocrisy comes in many forms especially with this www version of quick witted self-assuredness, where attempts at stopping all wars will someday be realized by terror, loyalty, and love or faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. Poets Sixth Sense have always made some tense, until the world awakens and can smell the roses without wearing a crown of thorns in the coronal sense of the Word.

Thanks Dave for the comment. I'm not sure whether I am a real cynicalist or a realist with tones of cynicism. I believe its about making brighter futures for all children while being confused about others actions toward our future diplomats.

Do you think it was a slightly subtle touch? It was a straight hint for a big feint. lol

I am currently living in a place called the lighthouse, where directly above our computer is a picture of a lighthouse in a storm with the saying, "Sometimes in the winds of change we find our true direction." I hope to find my way back to my true love across this sea of cement. So, your poem is already timeless in the sense of today, where only an ocean separates realities of our not so distant past. Thanks Dave.

Hi there Dave, Two things this morning: have you fixed on a title for the book you're gathering poems for, and 2) when you speak to the guys who run this site, could you mention something? If we could know which poem of ours someone is commenting upon, it would save going back through scads of them. Enjoying your poems! Sharon

It's me again, with a question! Where should I put my thank-you's to comments people make on my poems? Can't see where they are being posted for others to see. You mentioned it would be better to not put them under profiles, so that others could read. Where are viewers seeing them though? Sharon

Boy you certainly caught me with this one. I was thinking Murder,a good old fashioned Murder. The poor dear was just giving some of her precious Blood. Excellent piece Bern.

Thanks for your comment on "Lost Words." While poetry may be alive in the UK, I wish it were a little healthier here in the states. One would think that since Spokane is so close to Seattle, we'd have a great performance circuit, but sadly, that is not the case.

Newest Poem

A Certain Lady

There's a certain wistful aspect to her gentle grace

A fair haired lovely with elegance embedded in her face

Clear eyed and full lipped with cheekbones well defined

And just to top that outer view is the beauty of her mind

Such a combination must be more than many men can bear

So much for them to live up to - may they hope they can ensnare

A lady filled with passions that are reserved just for that one

Who offers safety for her heart and can carry her along

With them hand in hand till the night is never gone

Amid the certain knowledge that they will ever look upon

A sight that others cannot as her views are just for him

The truth is that within their bond there never will be sin

For sin is just for other souls that have yet come to learn

Without deep trust and honesty they just cannot discern

The reality of true love is we hold the other high

In every way above ourselves and without the need to ply

Our troth with false pretences in the hope that they might sway

The other's will towards us without a momentary delay

For time is well invested only when all is sincere

Then we will have earned the right to call the other dear
