Sugar Twilight

In the patched up curtains,

On the 3rd floor up,

In the second spare bedroom,

4th window to the right, 

Is a hole, a tiny hole,

A hole just big enough.

And there the sun pours in,

bit

by

bit

Into a pool on the floor.

And the dust,

the dust is swimming.

See it dancing

bright

In the light

At sugar twilight.
