I am a 47 year old Mother of 3 and a grandmother of 2 and a stepgrandmother of one.Another grandaughter due in Sept 2010.
My kids and my family are my life above all. Except for God of course. Thanks so much for reading my poetry, I appreciate you taking the time out.
I am a Editors choice Poet of the year for 2006 and have recieved many monthly editors choice awards as well. I am now a member of Cambridge's Who's Who and am very proud of my achievement and award given me from there. I love sharing my poetry and hope you all enjoy the splendor of my God given talent. I am pleased to announce that I did not have a stroke, or heat stroke nor do I have Bells Palsey. God is Good !! Today was a really tough day for me and spending time in the hospital made me realize I am so very blessed. I missed writing more today due to the day I had. I am glad God has me safe now. GOD IS SO GOOD !!

All of this put the "V" in "VICTORY" !! Thanks so much to all who have voted for me and celebrated with me my Parents 60th. It was a nice day tho I was unable to attend I did call. Loving thaughts to family and friends for all the kind comments. And yes to your question there Carol aka mussygal. All of us syblings have a talent or two or more. A few are artists, others write books, and others lead others to victory in their own lives for other people to achieve higher standards in learning to live, laugh and to love. Janet, I just saw you added me in your subscriptions..Thank you so much for that.! Makes me smile :-) I hope your parents also enjoyed a great celebration for their 60 th anniversary. You are indeed talented and I'm wondering if any of your siblings also have the literary gift.? I just talked to a lovely couple 2 weeks ago and they were getting ready to celebrate their 64th ..Anniv...isn't that something? My own parents made it to their 55th I believe. Bless you.. Carol

TODAY IS A DAY OF CELEBRATION OF MY MOM AND DAD'S 60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. WOW !! SUCH A LONG TIME AFTER 9 KIDS, 20 PLUS GRANDKIDS AND 20 PLUS GREAT GRANDKIDS. SO GLAD THEY WERE ABLE TO SEE THIS DAY IN THEIR LIFETIME AND MYSELF AS WELL. CELEBRATE WITH ME WILL YOU PLEASE IN GIVING THANKS TO GOD FOR THEM. AMEN TO ALL OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. JANET

Morning Memory

Morning breaks ! The alarm sounds.

Who this early could jump around?

The aroma from the morning cup,

Upon the coffee for day time sup.

Awake to thank him for a brand new day,

Enough to ask that he hear me pray.

I wake the kids, send them to school,

With bickering amoungst them as if fools.

The young are without comprehend,

While the elder reconcile; pretend.

It works with what I call my logic,

Seems apprehensive yet metabolic.

It calms their fears and calms them down,

While at the bus stop they act as clowns.

Funny faces, silly looks,

Heavy napsacks full of books.

I recall the tougher times you see,

rekindled back a million times three.

The fun and laughter we all endear,

Takes me back to yesteryear.
