I like your poem Colonel Gulzar. Reminds me of the loss of my own brother who was taken from US of undetected brain cancer. I am one of 9 kids and my twin sis and I are youngest. I miss my brother Ted on this day of my Mom and Dad's 60th wedding Anniversary. Hope you have a wonderful day ! Eazyrymer. TY for sharing your precious heart.

From day one all we did was fight,
now all WE do is fight back OUR tears.
WE wanted to do everything you did,
because WE wanted to be just like you.
Now WE sit here wondering what to do,
because there's no one to replace you.

WE never did tell you all the things WE felt,
like how much WE really did love you.
WE wish we could go back and start over again.
WE don't want to be alone. WE need OUR brother,
WE need OUR best friend.

When you think of US
while your up in heaven,
Think of how much you meant to US.

Its sad that you left
without saying goodbye,
But just remember we all love you
as you began to fly.

You did so much for US,
as WE didn't do much for you.
WE hope you will forgive US,
for all the things WE didn't do

You were OUR brother
and OUR best friend.
WE will always love you
no matter how long its been,
since your life came to an end. *********************
